The student scientific circle "Histologist" of the Department of Histology has been working for many years, parallel to the history of the university. The main goal of the "Histologist" SSC is the comprehensive development of students, awakening their passion for science, encouraging them to choose their future professions from the lower years, and effectively using their free time. The main direction of the circle is to understand medicine at the cellular level, prepare natural and artificial drugs, familiarize themselves with their tissue structure, study them, and teach them how to write scientific articles and theses competently. Currently, the work of the circle is active and proceeds in various directions. This is evidenced by the achievements of the circle and the demand for students interested in becoming its members. About 100 students are actively working in the circle in all specialties of our university, including Kazakh, Russian, and English groups. Today, the circle is headed by Kuanysh Kenesovich Baytenov, a teacher of the Department of Histology. The "Histologist" SSU works in 5 main directions according to the new development plan, for this purpose the following groups have been created: "SMM" group, "Science" group, "Laboratory" group, "Model-dummy" group, "Restoration" group. The "SMM" group is engaged in organizing club events within the department, laboratory work, publications on social networks to disseminate and share the achievements and values of club members among young people and our colleagues, interviews, and various interactive events. Through this, our club is moving forward with its activities on social networks. The "Science" group is engaged in guiding students in writing scientific projects, theses, and reports, teaching them to prepare high-quality, substantiated scientific work, and submitting articles and projects to conferences of various levels. The "Laboratory" group is engaged in preparing histological micropreparations for the educational process and scientific work, mastering staining methods, and teaching them to describe them on their own. The "Model" group is responsible for preparing models, dummies, albums and modern teaching aids, developing and selecting materials for exhibitions in order to understand tissues at the micro and macroscopic levels and effectively use them during classes. The "Restoration" group is engaged in the restoration of broken, outdated micropreparations. This allows for the reduction of the number of preparations necessary for the educational process, as well as financial savings. Each group works in its own areas with its own characteristics. Each student who comes to the group is registered in the group he chooses based on his personal capabilities, complementing each other like children of the same family and working towards development. Day by day, the work of the group is improving, new ideas and goals are being implemented, and one of the reasons for this is the support of the scientific research work of students by the University administration, the head of the Histology Department, the teaching staff, and the work of the "Morphological Laboratory" that we can proudly say at our department. The Morphological Laboratory works continuously not only for students, but also for teachers, graduate students, and doctoral students. To date, thanks to the laboratory's modern equipment and methods, a lot of scientific work has been done and will continue to be done.
